GG 841 Seminar Course on Earth System
Science
Vincent Van Gogh Landscape at Saint-Remy GG 841 in Spring 1999 offered by Ranga Myneni is an advanced course on certain topical themes in Earth System Science, with emphasis on Climate Change and Remote Sensing. The class meets twice a week. The Wednesday Class is restricted to the enrolees. Research articles recommended by the guest speakers will be read and discussed during this class. The Friday class is essentially a seminar given by a distinguished visiting scientist, and is open to all students and faculty. In addition, a set of articles is a required reading for the enrolees. The students will be graded on performance in discussion (25%) and a final report (75%). ALL SEMINARS WILL BE HELD IN STONE SCIENCE BUILDING LOCATED AT 675 COMMONWEALTH AVENUE, ROOM 453, AT 4 PM Seminar
